TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! THE INTERNETZ SAYS THAT GOV. MATT BLUNT IS TEH GHEY!!!

I hate doing any kind of research which is why TKC is one of the best bloggers in Kansas City i.e. only the obvious and very easy stories fall into my lap.

Therefore I'm going to "report" something that no other political blog in Kansas City has bothered to mention.

INTERNETZ RUMORS CLAIM THAT GOV. MATT BLUNT IS TEH GHEY AND MIGHT SOON BY OUTED BY A CABLE NEWS NETWORK!!!

At first I was worried about the consequence of reporting this story but it is literally ALL OVER THE INTERNET!!!

Here are just a few examples from an EXCLUSIVE compilation that TKC put together:

We'll start off slow with a bloggy post which just hints that Blunt is rather sweet looking: "Fey Is Like Gay, But Not: Gov. Matt Blunt" Nothing much there but a lot of hinting.

But then things get hardcore (ouch):

  • The Data Lounge has a HUGE discussion of The Gov's alleged homosexuality which goes back quite a few weeks.

  • Queerty (a mega gay site) speculates that CNN was going to make an outing last week.

  • Queerfilter, a site with a big reach as well (hehe) reposts just the same thing.

  • Meanwhile, the STL streetfighter just comes out and says it: "That's right "out" as in "out" as in he is GAY!"

  • Also, even a cursory glance at the STL Post Dispatch blogs will provide tons of comments which make claims about the gheyness of the Gov. even after the management has been doing their best to delete most of them.

It gets worse . . . The rumors are pretty detailed. They involve a 29 year-old real estate developer from Springfield, MO.

There is also SPECULATION that this could not only be a reason that Matt Blunt isn't running for re-election but also why he's in such a huff to keep his e-mails private.

TKC actually had to talk to people on this one and apparently everybody knew about this before I did (even though it's still an EXCLUSIVE for TKC because I'm just that gully) . . . One very informed political insider told TKC: "It's not a secret any more and it's just a matter of time till people start openly discussing this," he continued . . ."The gossip is everywhere and it's very similar to the great majority of Larry Craig's constituency who knew he was gay long before it was reported."

So then I had to go to local newsies to see if they had any wind of these rumors.

I was literally laughed at no less than 3 times . . . They had all heard the talk.

However, a very smart newsie said pretty much the following:

"They're just rumors Tony, and they have been around for months. We keep hearing that another news organization is going to break the story but so far no one has . . . In his defense, I could start a rumor as well but that doesn't make it true. We need a better standard for what we will report."

So, TKC isn't saying anybody is the ghey but ignoring talk from the Internet which has now become a MAJOR MEDIA NEWS SOURCE for a great number of people is a bad decision.

Personally, TKC holds no opinion about anyone's teh gheyness because unless you see it for yourself (which would mean you're also the ghey) all information on this front is nothing but second hand.

Yet, as we step into the digital age I think that directly confronting Internet gossip is the best way to go. People only hide, gossip and speculate on the Internet because they go unchallenged . . . This strategy doesn't reflect the unruliness of the Internet or blogs but only the coziness that politicos have with mainstream media. Nevertheless, talk is talk and politicos ignore the Internet at their own peril.

In the case, the "filter up" strategy of both big media and politicos serves only to make them gatekeepers of what their audience and their constituents are already reading and talking about . . .

The truth is out there, it may not be on the Internetz but ignoring any element of the public discourse is no longer an option for anyone who depends on the masses.

Also, NO HOMO on this whole post . . .

    1. No homo indeed.

    2. He's got to take it in arrears.
He's got that James McGreevey, Larry Craig, and Ted Haggard look on his face that barely masks a burning desire to smoke some serious schlongs bone dry.
      LOLZ.

    3. Okay, this site is shut down in 3, 2,

      ReplyDelete
    4. Good work T. I mean good work taking credit for other peoples gossip.

      ReplyDelete
    5. Oh please! Say it ain't so! It's bad enough we get stuck with the likes of J. Edna Hoover, Roy ("I'm no fag") Cohn and Jeffrey Dahmer. Please don't put Skippy Blunt on our team.

    6. This just in. Gay man admits in shame that he's governor of Missouri. Film at eleven.

      ReplyDelete
    7. Oh snap, yet another Republican doesn't want to show that he's a member of the group he's persecuting.

      ReplyDelete
    8. Politics seems to be full of "back door" deals.

      ReplyDelete
    9. This isn't a new rumor Tony but I did hear that it would be on CNN any day now. I wonder if the guy is coming forward or if we'll have to wait for the Governor's e-mails to meet Sunshine Law requests.

      ReplyDelete
    10. Once you go gay, you never go back...

      ReplyDelete
    11. The Larry Craig reference is correct Tony. I used to live in his home state and it was no secret at all about his wide stance so to speak.

      ReplyDelete
    12. I shook hands with Roy once. Definitely gay. I always assumed the pool boy was Matt's Papa. Maybe not, maybe its in the genes.

      ReplyDelete
    13. Just look at that McGreevey smile.

      ReplyDelete
    14. What a bad beard the guy picked. One look at her and I knew that there was no way that man was a hetero. People are going to be running to her defense but I'm sure she's the one person who has really known the truth all along.

      ReplyDelete
    15. whatevs. Why is it anyone's business?

      ReplyDelete
    16. Got I hate that term 'whatevs'.
It's hipster douchebaggism to the extreme.

      ReplyDelete
    17. Matt is definitely not gay and I can prove it!

      1. If he were gay, he'd at least make sure his wife dressed with a little style.

      2. When he gave me head in the men's loo he wasn't very careful with his teeth. I ended up with scratches on the underside of my penis.

      ReplyDelete
    18. That's just wrong Tony. Stop posting on your own comments without claiming it.

      Funny stuff, by the way.

      ReplyDelete
    19. If this is true and there is an email trail - I don't understand anyone under 50 years old that is stupid enough to use public email accounts for private and incriminating correspondence. Republicans overwhelmingly support FISA rules - do they not believe we are really being watched? Or do they believe they are above the law? No matter - it's just really dumb, it must be some kind of adrenaline rush thing - just to see if they can get away it.

      ReplyDelete
    20. Clueless in the comments. This is important because Matt Blunt has been at the forefront of criticism over gay marriage.

      http://primebuzz.kcstar.com/?q=node/12169

If this is true it's just another sign of closeted Republicans who don't want homosexuals to have any freedom.

      ReplyDelete
    21. Anyone who would name his turkey baster baby "Branch" almost certainly rides with the Rump Rangers. The only thing gayer you could call a baby is "Brunch."

      ReplyDelete
    22. Funny that the media is looking in all the wrong places. Maybe police reports might be a better angle from what I hear.

      ReplyDelete
    23. I think Republicans would be mad if they even supported the guy anymore. You got lucky on this one T.

      ReplyDelete
    24. too bad for his wife and kid

      ReplyDelete
    25. Why does Mike Sharp have a creepy, sweaty, stinky, fat, closet Queen advising his campaign?

What is it with these politicians?

      ReplyDelete
    26. A hawk, I thought Sharp was a Democrat. How could he have Jeff Roe advising him?

      ReplyDelete
    27. Kevin Hennosy just looks and smells a lot like Jeff Roe and other Erotic City patrons.

      ReplyDelete
    28. The Gub is gay. Not a big surprise.

      ReplyDelete
    29. Blunt has been a homosexual. He finally just got sloppy. Not a nice mental image I know but something that got him in trouble.

      ReplyDelete
    30. all this gay talk is giving me A CHUB.

      ReplyDelete
    31. Calm down now. Bathroom stalls are not as sexy as they seem.

      ReplyDelete
    32. Star posted a piece on the boy wonder being a "No Show" for a ceremony. The posts have all been deleted. Of course the posters question the guy's sexual preference. If the bastard and his party hadn't made such a big deal out of "family values" and homosexuality, well nobody would give that much of a damn. BUT they did and He did Sooo, we do! What a farce!

      ReplyDelete
    33. The story pointed out that the desk in Blunt's office was dressed with artifacts. The bible, a guide to zoos, picture of his son Branch, a book on adolescents and newspapers from 2007.
I am sure they remembered to dust the cobwebs off of the damn thing.
Well, we wanted to know if they scoped out a LGBT mag, a route of the Gay Pride Parade, a Google map of Springfield... anything?

      ReplyDelete
    34. There's not been a gay pride parade in Kansas City in years so I don't think they would have found any such map, at least here. Maybe on one of his business trips to San Francisco.

      ReplyDelete
    35. Sigh.

You know a man that hott HAD to be teh gay...

      ReplyDelete
    36. I'm curious ahawk - what's your opinion on the future of sports programs at Catholic universities?

      ReplyDelete
    37. I think "A Hawk" is trying to hurt my feelings. :-)

      ReplyDelete
    38. Let's stay on topic people, the Governor is obviously a homo and everyone knows it.

      ReplyDelete
    39. this whole subject is gay

      ReplyDelete
    40. I wanna cut his nuts off!

      ReplyDelete
    41. Did the Gov kidnap Tony????

      Someone call the Feds...

      ReplyDelete
    42. Blunt takes it in the butt. Finally he can relate with Missourians after four years of his policies.

      ReplyDelete
    43. Tony is gone this site is not owned by the state of Missouri. in true MO fashion don't expect any changes for a few months.

      ReplyDelete
    48. Tony makes sure u delete r IP addresses b4 MO Republican party bathes u in KY and sodomizes u.

      ReplyDelete
    49. Police don't want get pinned by Gov. Blunt.

      http://www.kansascity.com/115/story/698982.html

      ReplyDelete
    50. Tony is locked up in some "other" basement, with a ball gag in his mouth and the Gimp and Zed having their way with our Tony.

      ReplyDelete
    51. But isn't that how Tony spends every Thursday, anonymous?

      ReplyDelete
    52. This is a good dry run drill for when Tony does have a massive coronary in his mom's basement.
You know, we need to come to some sort of agreement about how long to make snarky comments before starting to get genuinely concerned.
I venture that 48 hours is a good ballpark timeframe.

      ReplyDelete
    53. OMG! The news just reported the body of a Hispanic male was pulled out of the Missouri River near Lexington! You don't suppose ...

I don't even want to think about it.

      ReplyDelete
    54. Family values supporter=deep hidden sexual secrets.

      ReplyDelete
    55. Let's just say... I used to figure skate with him. I mean, really.

And, wife is SUCH a fag-hag.

      ReplyDelete
    56. I have not heard a single fact to support this "rumor". It sounds like a BS rumor to me.

      ReplyDelete
    57. I can tell you one thing, Tony is gay and always has been since he wrote for The Pitch (all the news that fit to pitch in the trash).

This "rumor" was started by the attorneys at the law firms that are arranging Blunt's flight from the United States and that are paying people off to keep quiet. The attorneys themselves aren't being paid off, so why should they keep quiet? (Not to mention their wives are gossips.)

If Matt Blunt leaves the country, you know this story is true.

      After being paid off:
