You can get anything online; books, computers, music and potentially life threatening diseases. Check out this online ad that's either a clever scheme to get folks into a multi-level marketing group or simply a run of the mill attempt to exchange body fluids with strangers met over the Internets. Here's an excerpt from the "JoCoCpl" on the Swingers board (ugh) that reads like it's wonderfully naive (note, the ads on this web page ARE NOT worksafe)
We are a 41/40 yr old couple in the suburban Kansas City area (KS side). We are relatively new to the idea of swinging. We toyed around with the idea for a while, and never really explored the possibility out of fear of damaging our fantastic marriage. ReplyDeleteWhy don't you try learning a bit more about alternative relationship styles before you incorrectly label anyone who isn't in a monogamous lifestyle?
And by the way, monogamy has never been a guarantee against the need for Valtrex, considering the rather high percentage of the general population with herpes versus the low percentage of the population who swing.

ReplyDeleteThe couple states that they're merely "toying with the idea" of swinging, and looking for more information.
This is a blog, so of course, you're entitled to your opinion> But I recommend that for your opinion to carry any weight or maintain any integrity at all that you do your research. Not all swingers are affluent or riddled with disease.
People who are single or who cheat on their spouses run the same risk of contracting STD's as any swinger.
Then again, you do at least admit your laziness.
