Consequences of a Kansas City demographic shift: The better looking, more politically connected Italian-American challenger can't win in Northeast

Northeast News Reports: State Rep John Burnett, since the beginning of the year, has raised more than $40,000 as he seeks reelection for the Northeast state seat. Challenger John Rizzo, on the other hand, is relying more on loans to himself as he reported to the state that his campaign had only raised $18,975 in his bid for Burnett’s seat. However, of that amount for Rizzo, $18,000 of it came from Rizzo himself in the form of three separate loans to his campaign.

Even with the backing of County Exec. Mike Sanders it's hard to believe that this guy

Can't beat this old dude . . .

But the reality of demographic change in Kansas City makes me hopeful that in about 14 years . . . The Northeast might finally get a Mexican-American representative considering that this group comprises most of the population in Northeast and has very little in common with either of these politicos.
