TKC loves it when DeAnn Smith and Dave Helling Double Check My Work!!!

It's nice to see the dudes at The Star are only a couple of weeks behind TKC.

I keed, I keed, the Star comes up with scoop everyday but the fact that some dork (like me) in his mom's basement can beat a multi-million dollar organization every so often makes it especially clear why this free speech thing is so important. And TKC would like to show his admiration for Star reporters from time to time. In fact, if I was to base my twisted fantasies on journalistic prowess I would imagine TKC, Dave "Damn I'm Good" Helling and DeAnn Smith on a warm Spring night with an XXL blender of margarita mix, a tube of warm baby oil and a Twister mat. Maybe Jello, I get hungry right after exercise. When I let my imagination really run wild, Darla Jaye stops by in a referee's uniform with a whistle. Good times.

Anyhoo, TKC is glad to see two of the best damn reporters in the city fact check something I wrote last month.

Remember:

TKC (WITH THE HELP OF AWESOME TIPSTERS!!!) noted that Kansas City Democrats STILL can't stand Mayor Funky and don't want him to be a Superdelegate.

A few folks thought I was just blowing smoke but, ONCE AGAIN, it turns out I was right.

ACCORDING TO THE STAR, KANSAS CITY DEMOCRATS DON'T WANT FUNKHOUSER REPRESENTING THIS TOWN!!!

Here's a review why the Dems don't like the Mayor:

There's really no proof Funkhouser is a Democrat. He has never done a damn thing for the local party.

Word on the street is that his Chief of Staff is a Republican (he is).

Funkhouser's selection as a Superdelegate would alienate Black and ESPECIALLY LATINO VOTERS since he has engaged in nothing but divisive politics and supported the Minutemen. Today's Star article puts it this way: "The complaints against Funkhouser's efforts are that he hasn't paid his dues to the party and angered minorities by sticking with a Minuteman Civil Defense Corp. member on the park board and wanting to dump the African-American city manager."

The dude is as useless as a whore in church when it comes to exciting the electorate, this is simply a move to jump on the bandwagon of a very energetic Democrat movement in this country.

Whereas I just wrote what I heard, Helling and Smith had to double check and actually talk to sources. Thanks to AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS (STAND UP!!!) word on the street gets dished before local media has to water it down with pesky facts and PR reaction from the other side.

This is one reason why blogs are so awesome.
