Some folks in Kansas City can't even open their door without getting shot

A man was hospitalized after he was shot early Monday morning while answering a knock at his door. The shooting at the apartment complex in the 11400 block of Colorado Avenue was reported at about 6 a.m. yesterday . . . There were no arrests.
