Politicos don't believe in protest: A sign of the erosion of free speech in Jackson Couny

Here are some overly restrictive and probably unconstitutional new regs against a thin piece of cardboard and a political message: A committee of the legislature recommended a policy that requires people to keep signs from obstructing views of those at the meeting. Signs would best be kept to the rear of the room, the policy states. In addition, anyone who wants to bring a sign to the meeting has to let the sheriff’s deputy at the meetings know ahead of time.
