Kansas City Author Jack Cashill is either completely crazy or an absolute genius regarding his attack on Hillary Clinton!!!

The people of Kansas City, like TKC, love a good conspiracy theory AND negative campaigning . . . Putting the two together almost insures success either among the talk radio crowd or the hippies that protest on the Plaza right after brunch.

As of late Kansas City author and Ingram's Executive Editor Jack Cashill has been getting some renewed interest in his decade long obsession with the crash and conspiracy related to TWA Flight 800.

In Cashill's latest article on World Net Daily, where crazy people go for their information, he pretty much blames Hillary for the alleged/implied/conspiracy/tinfoil hat act of terrorism regarding the doomed plane . . . The only thing that surprises me is that the editors can't find a photo of her holding a missile launcher.

Cashill boldly, bravely, with a straight face asks . . . "Hillary: Where were you at 3 a.m. July 18, 1996?"

Thing is, Clinton isn't the first person Cashill has saddled with this instance of made-up terrorism . . . The culprits, not so strangely, all happen to be Democrats running for President. His reactionary motives seem obvious, but I don't want to get into conspiracy theories myself not only because I've yet to go completely bonkers but also because all of my fantasies conspiracy theories involve alien women (blonde, not Mexican) with three boobs taking me away to their orgy planet. But I digress.

Here are some other politicos Cashill has blamed for the alleged instance of terrorism on U.S. Soil:

Billl Clinton
Al Gore
John Kerry

Still, the guy obviously knows his stuff on the subject given that he has filed dozens of his stories on the topic over the years . . . I doubt the 9/11 Truthers will have as much dedication to their crusade once they get out of college and uncover all of the other lies which hold up our Democracy/consumer economy like marriage and the benefits of hard work. On the other hand, if Cashill eventually turns out to be right that will give the U.S. the extra push to win in the failing Iraq and Afganistan campaigns, right?

Anyhoo, it's not like I want to defend Hillary from vitriolic, unfounded, slightly off-kilter accusations; especially since she's made so many of her own. It's just nice to see that Kansas City has a place in the paranoid and fear based discussion of terrorism in American politics given the absence of any real threat from radical Islamic terrorism in this cowtown.
