Every Easter tradition should be meaningless: Leawood folks and homeless celebrate mass then go separate ways!!!

KSHB reports the country's largest Methodist church, Leawood's Church of the Resurrection, and downtown K Kansas City's Grand Avenue Temple celebrated the life of Jesus together downtown . . . The Church of the Resurrection is located in one of the nation's richest suburbs while the Grand Avenue Temple has a membership that is about 90 percent homeless, so at the very least they won't be upset when they don't get any return phone calls.
Tony - Thanks for your attention to this story. I am one of the pastors at Resurrection and wanted to add that the worship service at Easter at Grand Avenue Temple was part of an ongoing relationship that Resurrection has with Grand Avenue Temple. This service was also part of exploring the possibility of worshiping together on a regular extended basis.
