Wizards en Español: Kansas City embraces Spanish language programing more than most people think!!!

More proof that commerce is a lot more important than cultural identity: Down the Byline notes that The Wizards announced in a press release today that for the first time in team history, every game will be broadcast on the radio in both English and Spanish. LA Playa 1480 AM will have the English broadcast, while La Gran D 1340 AM will have the Spanish broadcast.

All things considered, this is definitely a good move - Working to expand the soccer fan base to Latinos since white people would rather watch Kansas City's baseball and football teams lose.

I'd just like to point out that companies desperate to earn more consumers could care less about the arguments supporting English Only advocates.

Yes, it's true and sad. It is very sad indeed when corporate America will stoop to any level to earn a buck. The sell out of America to illegal aliens is dispicable.

At Wizards games, I see Whitey, Argie, Mexy, and Brownie all rubbing shoulders. The supporters groups sing in English and Spanish for 90 minutes.

They don't seem to be part of corporate America. They look more interested in partying than worrying about what language it's in.

I'm white and I love listening to the games in Spanish. Maybe that's because I took the time to actually increase my intelligence by learning other languages. Anyways, Soccer is way better in Spanish, just like Football is way better in English.
