As far as the weather is concerned, it has been an amazing weekend.
The nice weather we've been having is yet another excuse to do something good for someone besides yourself . . . Sooooooo, if you're around the Westside tomorrow, take a moment to plant some Tulips as part of a neighborhood beautification project put together by Alfredo Parra.
Here are the details:
The Westside Beautification Committee is planting tulips on Summit TODAY!!!They say that gardening is good for the soul, so I encourage those of you who would like to enjoy the day outside to help out!!! Meanwhile, I'll be planting my ass on the couch here in the basement and drinking bottle after bottle of Boulevard Wheat while watching playoff games.
We really need volunteers to help with tilling the soil. Sunday, January 6, we'll meet at 12 noon, at 26th and Summit, and work most of the afternoon.

Ghey.
ReplyDeleteEverybody knows that this area's heavy clay soil doesn't provide enough drainage to allow homeostasis for any flowering tulipia genus. I hope those d-bags are planning on coming back with heavy doses of gypsum at least once a season. It's simple fundamentals people.
Let me guess, exactly none of you bastard people showed up to help with this. It's because you don't care about anyone but yourselves and your dogs isn't it?
ReplyDeleteDarn I missed it. Maybe if you speak good things about lightrail I'll come out next time.
ReplyDeleteI'd like for channel 9 newsgal Donna Pittman to plant two-lips on my member, if you get my drift. Sure, she may have a nose like Mike Tyson's but have you seen those lips? Girl could suck the chrome off a 57 Chevy.
