There's an interesting profile of Female Impersonator Carl Glorioso.



Glorioso has been performing in Kansas City for 10 years and his character Victoria DePaula is popular among folks who would know about that kind of thing . . . No homo.

Anyhoo, Glorioso is a part of a documentary that recently premiered at Slamdance.

The Pageant follows five dudes in drag as they compete to become the 34th Miss Gay America®

And, of course, no homo on this whole post but it's a pretty interesting story that involves struggle, acceptance and a bunch of dudes in drag competing to be the best: Kind of like Paintman's life story only a lot more glamorous.
