It's a good thing The Star is following Nixon's car scandal . . . Because nobody else is: "Michael Keathley, Blunt’s top administrator, asked state Auditor Susan Montee to audit Nixon’s records, but she dismissed the request. If the governor, not the Office of Administration, requested an audit, she said, she couldn’t refuse.
Then why doesn’t the governor request it?
“I suspect it’s so that OA (the Office of Administration) is the one looking political and not the governor,” said Montee, a Democrat."
