Cold won't curb KC violence

Yet another Westport shooting reported early this morning . . . It might have been self-defense. Still, this town's homicide still keeps creeping upward.

  1. That is because no one on the Eastside or Downtown cares about violence in this city but Alonzo Washington.

  2. It's another way of scooting the people downtown to a somewhat safer enviroment.

  4. Oh, poor guy. He was probably just a poor homeless person who cobbled enough money for a bb gun. We need to help those poor homeless people asking for money. It was Thanksgiving. Maybe he was flashing the piece to say, "Hey, look, I can't even afford a real gun."

He is the real victim here. The poor thing. I'm sure it was a poor black man asking for money from a white person who assumed him to be a robber. It was just a BB gun. The guy should have known it was a BB gun. Or at least assumed. I'm sure the KKKCPD won't even bother doing an investigation of yet another poor black man shot down in the prime of his life.

  5. REALLY??? Just another poor black guy? We do you people come up with this stuff. It's amazing to me that people can actually stand back and take a complacent roll such as this; all the while innocent people are wondering if they should even go out at night.

Let me impose this question on you - let's assume that somebody follows you and your significant other into a parking garage after you repeatedly and politely tell him that you can't help him out. And then while your car is running and you can't pull out because the guy is still in the way of even shutting your door, he starts flashing the stock of a gun at you. Do you still feel that this is a poor black guy wanting money to upgrade his bb-gun? Honestly, your safety and that of your little lady sitting beside you doesn't even cross your mind?

    You are pathetic!
