A 20-year-old Olathe man who was accused of slitting a cat’s throat and tossing its body into a trash bin pleaded guilty Tuesday to a felony charge of animal cruelty.
Michael Vincent Keltner will serve 90 days in jail and be on probation afterward if the Johnson County judge hearing the case follows the terms of a plea agreement. Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 22.
