The Pitch points out the militant cycling group Critical Mass who are known to "shock the bejesus out of the general public" in an attempt to promote their cause, bring traffic to a standstill in KC and generally intimidate law abiding drivers. They meet in the Westport Sunfresh parking lot at 6 p.m. in order to take part in an unsanctioned "parade." Here is their myspace page (in which they militantly refer to themselves as an "army") . . . Take a look so that you can prepare yourself if you should encounter their driver intimidation.

I encountered that pack of nimrods a few weeks ago. They ran through red lights blocked all of sw blvd lanes of traffic and ran their mouths as they passed cars. im getting some roofing nails ready for em.
ReplyDeleteI thought I'd left these D-bags behind when I left Portland, Oregon. The fucking Mayor rides in critical mass circle-jerks in that city. Someone's gonna get hurt out there if they try this shit during rush hour and are breaking traffic laws. Of course that would be seen as a victory and further their Us against Them mentality.
ReplyDeletethe video isn't working
ReplyDeleteroofing nails and motor oil, trick or treat beatch.
ReplyDeleteGetting back at people breaking laws by breaking laws. Hypocrites.
ReplyDeleteI thought I left this crap in the northwest as well.
ReplyDeleteOh and by the way Tony, they have been doing this for months. Little slow on the uptake.
I've seen these little get togethers. So many people I wouldn't want to hit with my car because they are disgusting. If these folks represent bikers in kansas city then maybe I'm not too wild about their cause after all. When they aren't impeding traffic and yelling at drivers then they are not paying attention to the road and using their Ipods. These are the worst of all cyclists because they all seem to be losers and I swear they found someway to put an "impeach buss" bumper sticker on a bike. Nope, I don't support these creeps and I don't see why anyone would want them to "advocate" on their behalf.
ReplyDeleteLOL Militant bikers. Right up there with LOL religion. LOL
ReplyDeleteOr the MinuteBoys on bikes
