Once again, it's nice to see the people of Kansas City represent and make a name for themselves and this town.
By completely selling out and writing exclusively for (white) suburban sports readers Whitlock has distinguished himself and word of his "blame minorities first" attitude is starting to make waves on a national level . . . Obviously, the guy has found a niche.
Undoubtedly, he has garnered fans in the process but I've always noticed that there's a glut of people telling white people what they want to hear: We're winning the war in Iraq, the Chiefs are rebuilding, the downtown renaissance is just beginning, Mayor Funkhouser is a reformer, your daughter isn't a slut, by going "green" you really can save the planet . . . Etc, etc. . . .
I read a really good review of Whitlock's work recently which basically pointed out the fact that he's a dumbed down version of Stanley Crouch.
You be the judge, but I was always suspect of Whitlock speaking out so adamantly against hip-hop and its "culture" of violence and misogyny . . . Whereas those two attributes are what make any sporting event worthwhile.
Whitlock is the Star's house negroe. Always tryin' 2 be all smart and shit.

Are you being racist yourself, indicating that black people don't have money or can't read? It's all in the way "YOU" want to perceive things. Sounds like you have nothing else better to do than sit down and find something about someone you don't like and start trashing them. What a waste of time.
