ReplyDeleteWhat those of us who want Semler to stay want her to do is just what she said she wants to do: make the parks safe again. You go to Tower Park and there is nothing but blacks and that is intimidating. You go to Loose Park and you are likely to see two guys or two girls holding hands. We need to send the cops in to the parks and break up the congregation of blacks, and as far as the gays give them the Larry Craig treatment. We have jails for that. I trust Frances Semler will work hard to give us safe parks where we can take our kids and be afraid of who might hurt them or what they might see. I am glad to see the Star cranking up support for Frances Semler and the values she stands for. Shelly is right. We do not need a horde of Mexicans coming to town to sleep eight to a hotel room. The clean up job after that would be terrible. I am sick and tired of midtown liberals telling the rest of us what to do. I am happy to see conservative Democrats taking the lead again like Dan Tarwater, Jason Holsman and Jason Kander from the south side. I don't think the union thugs and black "ministers" would have the nerve to come down here and knock on doors in an intimidating way.

Why just the other day, I was in a park, and there were these people, dark skinned; there must have been, oh, at least 5 or 6 of 'em. They were grilling food and listening to music . . . some sort of "picnic" is what they'd like us to think, I'd wager.
Can't the cops do anything about this?
