Mark Forsythe files an intelligent, thoughtful and informed post about Kansas City Sewers today. I only wish the Mayor or half the City Council was as well informed about this problem. Really, the City's horrible Water Infrastructure is the (second) biggest issue facing this town (next to crime) and talk of it almost never reaches the surface. It's unglamorous, boring and tedious but anyone concerned with KC who glosses over the subject is clearly full of shit.

Mark Forsythe is a smart man who knows a lot about his district. I only wish the races for political office in Kansas City weren't decided on image and money. If having a council seat was based on knowing the issues he would have won without a problem.

ReplyDeleteWell, now, come on. I mean, Mark Forsythe has some douch-y tendencies, and he's a glad-hander and often a dork... But at least he's relatively sincere, somewhat intelligent, and on top of real issues (no homo?). Which is three advantages over Jan Marcason, right?
