A word from "The Forces of Evil"

Kevin Collison conducts a great interview with former KC TIF commission member Peter Yelorda.
This is not how someone who’s devoted nine years to reinvigorating Kansas City should depart — stung with rhetorical buckshot after a shotgun rant about “forces of evil.”
The article is interesting because it provides some insight into the early days of the so-called "Downtown Renaissance" and once again notes the hard feelings that Mayor Funkhouser has created in the opening months of his administration by insulting people with whom he disagreed on their way out of the door.

  1. Just like I said before.

Everytime there is a turn over in Mayors or Presidents they replace them with their people. Someone who they can trust. I don't know why this would surprise you.

Anyhow when a person is in a job to long they start thinking different. They think this entity wouldn't survive without them.
