Jolie Justus slams Baby Blunt's (not so) special session

The Freshman State Senator clearly reveals that Baby Blunt is hanging on by a thread and even his bullying tactics are barely working for him nowadays.
Unhappy with the bill we passed, The Gov once again trampled on the Constitution by dictating exactly what could and could not be discussed during the special session. The Missouri Constitution clearly states that appropriation of state funds is under the exclusive jurisdiction of the legislature. Despite this clear separation of powers, The Gov issued the narrowest call in the history of the Missouri Legislature and effectively prevented the legislature from doing what we are supposed to do -- legislate.
Also, it's nice to know SOMEONE in Jeff City realizes that there are repercussions to reactionary legislation:
I raised the issue of the constitutionally of this bill. I warned that it is likely to end up in litigation -- just like the rest of the ill-conceived junk that has been coming out of Jefferson City for the last two years. Voter ID. Campaign contribution limits. Abortion. MOHELA. The list goes on and on. So in addition to passing yet another handout for big business, the state will most likely have to pay to defend a lawsuit regarding its constitutionality and if their track record continues, the taxpayers will have to pay lawyer fees to the plaintiffs' attorneys.

Thanks again to Jolie Justus for losing 15 mil for UMKC in her attempt to make a symbolic point to get her name in the paper.

No more one issue candidates. Ever.

One issue? What one issue was that? I remember Jolie running on healthcare, education, choice and standing up to Blunt's corruption.

With regard to UMKC "losing" money what MONEY did they lose? Blunt bought off the political support of the UMKC senior administrators with a PROMISE of a small share of the proceeds of the MOHELA sale. That promise was always a bag of magic beans. The "leadership" at UMKC cannot be confused with the brightest bulbs in the box, and they bought into Blunt's lies. It is a wonder that they did not hold rallies in support of Andy's anti-ticket scalping bill, just to curry favor with our crooked governor.
