All right, I'm not gonna front - I've been more interested in Flight of the Conchords than anything related to Kansas City this morning

So I don't watch a lot of late night cable (because that's prime porn surfing time) but I just happened to check out an episode of Flight of the Conchords. HBO was promoting the show pretty heavily during the Sopranos finale but it looked kind of lame. However, I happened to stumble upon the program just as they were performing one of their songs and it made my ice tea spill out of my nose because it was so funny which only happens when a story about an abused animal is on the local news.

Anyway, this song dedicated to non-homosexual man love got me hooked on the series while the talking bits of the show rated a solid B.

"What's wrong with the world today" probably the most important social message song I've heard and a tacit acknowledgment that nearly everything after Marvin Gaye's "What's going on" is nothing more than homage.



I've actually seen this one before last night (Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros) and everyone I show it to thinks it's stupid but I am certain it's better than most of the rap music I've listened to since 1993. And that goes for everything up to and including Common's shitty new release. Nullus.



Finally, this last video entitled "Part-time model" is classic and pretty much captures the sentiment I utter under my breath when I gaze upon attractive local broads in Westport from time to time.

Like I noted previously, this doesn't have anything to do with Kansas City but I just wanted to put all of these videos together for myself so I could watch them over the weekend. So, as always, screw you if you don't like it . . . Because it made me laugh.
