Actually, no it isn't. I've heard this rumor every since I was a kid and it's mostly created to stir panic among the families of union mail carriers. Still, EKC has an interesting article on the subject and it's also nice to read that Union Leadership is doing their job over at The Post Office. Still, I won't be concerned about the possibility of privatizing mail until they start charging postage for e-mail . . . AND THAT COULD HAPPEN ANY DAY NOW!!!!
