Dennis Moore Doesn't Like Laughter

Dennis Moore the constantly embattled, Democrat, 3rd District U.S. Rep recently declined an invitation to appear on the Colbert Report according to The Kansas City Kansan.

It's that interview segment that worries Moore.

"I frankly enjoy watching the show sometimes," Moore told the Kansan. "But he always gets a laugh at the congressperson's expense. He'll interview somebody for a half hour or an hour and then splice it to make that person look foolish.

"I just don’t think I want to do that to myself."

Additionally, I can only guess with all of the real Republicans constantly poking fun at him, he didn't need a fake Conservative piling on as well. Still, I think he missed an opportunity that might have cost him if only the Republicans could find somebody even slightly more likable than Rudolf Hess (or Kris Kobach) when the next election rolls around.
