A very brave member of the KCPD shares his story . . . Also, whenever I've talked to somebody who has taken a bullet they always tell me that it doesn't hurt so much as it burns . . . The memory that stays with them the most is the intense heat and terror, which always sounds like what it must be like to live in the Middle-east.
