Steve Penn solves the most important problem in KC's Black Community

I did not know that the most important problem facing the Black community in Kansas City was the fate of the Black Archives of Mid-America. What I did know is that the place is yet another useless local attraction that attracts NO ONE and for some reason was championed some unfortunate souls who are unfamiliar with the term "white guilt." Thankfully, in Kansas City, those kind of folks abound and are more than willing to help out with a "problem" that makes everyone involved seem like a nice person for pitching in . . . Clearly, the fact that this town has ONE MORE EMPTY MUSEUM will make us all feel better at night.

I don't know what's next for Penn but I'm assuming that he'll take on other pressing problems in KC's Black community like figuring out the best places for antiquing or potential pitfalls to look for during summer vacations in the Hamptons.

But still, you have to give him credit for making sure a crusty pile of papers that virtually no one looks at is now publicly funded for another few years.
