Bloggers allowed to belittle Mayoral candidates from the same room!!!

Big News . . . KCUR is letting bloggers in the building for the LAST CHANCE TO CHOOSE THE LESSER OF ALL EVILS . . . On Monday February 26th Up to Date with Steve Kraske will host the final candidate forum before the primary election in the J.C. Nichols Auditorium at the National World War I Museum at the Liberty Memorial. Gully, not only will you get a chance to be in the heart of the beast as far as local politics but also an opportunity to attend the innards of one of this town's white elephants!!!

Eleven of the twelve candidates - Alvin Brooks, Charles Eddy, Janice Ellis, John Fairfield, Mark Funkhouser, Stan Glazer, Jim Glover, Henry Klein, Becky Nace, Albert Riederer, and Katheryn Shields have agreed to participate in the event.

The live 90-minute broadcast is open to the public and begins at 11 a.m. Doors open at 10:30 a.m.

Free wireless internet access will be provided in the auditorium. Live blogging is encouraged. Print and broadcast journalists are welcome to cover the event.

So there you have it and I'm hoping that the net folks won't be completely comprised of Funk supporters, but if I can overcome the digital divide in time and if my sombrero can pick up a wireless signal then I'm gonna do my best to crash this event.
