The fire at Kennedy's is the breaking news story of the day but one of a VERY SMART commenter named Brett accurately pointed out that one aspect of the day's destruction related to Kansas City's infrastructure . . . KSHB reports on the sad state of affairs in this passage:
The fire department is currently battling the flames in a defensive mode, trying to keep it from spreading . . . The water department is trying to help boost the pressure for firefighters on the scene. They are currently concentrating efforts to the originating structure and prevent the spread.
