Dig on swine: Pig jokes would be too easy

Ricardo Herrera is a great guy, the Tenderloin Grill on the Boulevard is an institution and I'll admit the local police are just as likely to save my ass as shoot me or Taser me to death so I don't want crack too hard on either one of them while noting a recent Star feature which detailed how eating a pig snoot sandwich is a right of passage for members of the KCPD.

Additionally, I did not know that pig snoot (I thought it was snout) is a popular local dish among the hardened arteries set in this town . . . And all of this inspires me to take the day off from giving my favorite vegetarians a hard time and see if it's not warm enough (up to 12 degrees already!) to take a walk.
