If a proposed ordinance in North Kansas City is passed than all dog owners would be required to have at least $100,000 in liability insurance. And I'm only assuming that this new law would also be in effect for those rinky-dink toy dogs that pose more of a threat to themselves than anything else on this planet.
I guess it's good to get closer to the last logical step regarding paranoia over pitbulls that ultimately leads to mostly harmless dogs and responsible pet owners getting treated with nearly as much animosity as Mexican dishwashers.

so if this thing passes, do people like me with homeowner's insurance, which covers dog bites, still have to pony up the dough for liability??? now that would be bullshit.
