Man Kills 5 Before Fatally Shooting Himself
A man killed five people, including three of his children, before fatally shooting himself Saturday morning, Kansas City police said. A fourth child was in the hospital with life-threatening wounds.
Police Capt. Rich Lockhart said the man, who has not been identified, killed one woman around 8:30 a.m. Saturday before going to a different home and shooting his longtime girlfriend, their four children and then himself.

I heard about this on the national news before even hearing about it locally.

People are getting that last killing of the season done before the numbers roll back to zero on Jan 1. Some of the street urchin douchebags that inhabit much of the city were like, "Hey, we're about 27 murders short of 2005. Let's get busy on the first really nice day of December and shoot some bitches!"
