Joe Lauria predicts "snew"

All media people in Kansas City hate each other, they hate each other probably more than the general public hates them . . . This, I think it their only redeeming quality.

A recent post on the Gateway City Message Board points out how two local radio personalties who were ripping on one of their colleagues because he had a cold or an accent or probably just because they could.

Boy did Shannon and Parks take Joe Lauria apart on yesterday's show. It was funny. They kept (rightfully so) mocking him for predicting "snew." Not snow but "snew." Over and over again. I took it those guys don't like Lauria too much but I'll have to admit. Take an Ambien and wash it down with NyQuil and you got Joe Lauria.

Thing is, I never understood the (mostly covert) animosity among reporters until I realized that they were all fighting over the same bus ticket out of town.
