St. Louis Tourism official argues that new lofts, restaurants and offices downtown coupled with safe suburban hideaways would "dilute" crime stats that make STL the most dangerous city in America. This is pretty much the same argument they make in KC when this town's cheerleaders ignore the violence East of Troost. It's all tantamount to one simple idea: Crime doesn't count when it only affects minorities.
