KCUR is looking for an individual to work 8 to 15 hours per week with the producer of the award winning "KC Currents", KCUR's news magazine. The job involves research, planning, and hosting programs for broadcast. S/he will also be responsible for generating subject ideas and will be involved in the interview and editing process. Candidates should have a particular interest in news, culture and issues related to diverse communities in the Kansas City area.
And I know what you're thinking, this job would be perfect for me . . . If only I cared about diverse communities other than Black and Latinos. Also, I'm not very fond of Blacks or Latinos.
