Beer Robber Punches Store Clerk In Face

I've always been convinced that alcoholism is an over used term. I know so many people who might be defined as alcoholics but somehow manage to lead completely miserable (and functional) lives just like everybody else.

However, a recent story of a guy punching a clerk in the face in order to make it away with beer reminds me that some people do, in fact, have a problem with liquor. Also, I think some hazard pay has to be in order for the clerk, usually you have to be dating or married to someone to take a fist in the head for this kind of behavior.

One last thing: The Fast Stop at 700 E. 75th St. should probably be closed down because it simply serves as nothing more than a stomping ground for crooks and a fixture in local crime reports. I feel sorry for all the clerks who work there, it seems nearly as bad as making change in Iraq.
