Again, only bloggers will care about this one

You may have noticed a little bit of a lull in posting yesterday. Let me find something new to blame it on: This time will go with Bloglines. Seems like I've grown complacent with this tool. I've used it like a fat girlfriend and only recently realized that I've grown pretty slothful myself in my dependence on the web application. So, I'm breaking up with Bloglines in favor of the Google Reader.

The transfer of my links was easy enough but I find that the Google interface is a little slow and I miss those cool little clicking sounds that Bloglines offers. On the bright side, I can already tell that the platform is far more stable, the interface is somewhat intuitive and it beats having to go back to my bookmarks just because Bloglines has trouble reading javascript settings in Mozilla. Yes, I'm sure it's my fault and something I'm not checking but honestly it was easier just to move to a different system. Yet, still I find myself missing the ugly, 70's blue set up so I'll keep on checking back from time to time and maybe Bloglines tech support might send me a line OR Hopefully, whatever problem that kept it from working in the first place will figure itself out. I guess I'll just play the waiting game in lieu of making any real decisions . . . Very much like what the Dems plan to do in Iraq, only I actually care about the outcome of this struggle.
