Survey says: People of KC don't care about anything but themselves

They say that polling data is useless (no homo) but I didn't know that speeders were the biggest crime threat facing Kansas City according to citizens who weren't smart enough to get out of taking a poll (no homo?).

Sure, I guess speeders could kill you and your family but odds are you're all in your car and speeding to where you're going as well.

Clearly, this new information is a mandate for public officials to put even more traffic cops on the street and demand more impromptu taxes fines from motorists.

Or better yet . . . This is what old ladies worry about and they are the only people who would take the time to answer the inane questions that comprise most of these types of surveys. I can't say that I blame them, I'd start talking to any random person who called me if I was 80 years old, locked in my house and my kids didn't visit. Burglary and violent crime ranked next on the list but I'm surprised that telemarketing scams and door to door salesmen didn't place higher . . . Also, I'm sure that seeing dead relatives who invited you closer to the light might also rate some concern.

As usual, the annual Eastside death toll or any of the construction company corruption and graft that goes on in this town didn't get much thought but it's good to know that issues like trash pick up and illegally parked cars are a top priority as the people of this town prove that the city beyond their block is of little concern.
