I guess we're all searching for something

A Columbia newspaper reports that FBI agents searched the home of a Columbia businessman and former Iraqi who has been an outspoken critic of the war in Iraq.

This means one of two things: Either You're not allowed to be critical in Columbia, MO

OR

The terrorists (i.e. Arabs) are getting really desperate for targets given that the closest thing to a high value, media attention grabbing target in Columbia, MO might be the Dairy Queen.

Anyway, the guy seems pretty harmless but you never can tell, seeing as how Saddam was a HUGE threat and he used to be drinking buddies with GW Bush.
About a dozen FBI vehicles parked this morning in front of the home of Shakir Hamoodi, 54, at 2701 Woodberry Court, in the upscale The Pines neighborhood in southwest Columbia, neighbors said . . . Hamoodi owns World Harvest International and Gourmet Foods on Nifong Boulevard. County records show he owns the Woodberry Court home with Lamya Najem, 40, who a neighbor said teaches at the Islamic School of Columbia Missouri.

Jeff Lanza, a spokesman for the FBI in Kansas City, would not say what prompted the raid, but he said the home was not a threat to the community.
Actually, that's pretty scary if there is any threat at all . . . Death by gourmet food seems like a horrible fate and nearly as expensive as getting something to eat at Kauffman Stadium.
