Rich and politically connected Arab students come to KC in order to challenge stereotypes . . . Like the one in which lower income (read: angry) white people believe that it's only American minorities and affirmative action that keeps their poor ass kids from getting a decent education.

  1. That's a somewhat refreshing article. I used to run a store in Columbia MO and had to deal with extremely rich and difficult Arab college students. I made sure that my feisty female employee greeted, helped them and when they complained to me I referred them back to her. Holding our ground put them in their place, even if they didn't spend money with me. That was OK as far as I my employees were concerned. They were all unified in the idea that if you come to our country you play by our rules.

  2. Yeah, how dare they spend money!!! I have a similar policy, I won't leave a tip for anyone but a big booty white woman.

"You come to our country, you play by our rules."

The Native Americans needed you about 500 years ago! Thankfully, you're on "our" side now and the Iraqi insurgents don't have that kind of attitude . . . Wait.
