A big shout out to "quantelo" for sending this story my way, it's a tad old but only because I missed it when it was first published. It's okay though, everyone has pretty much forgotten about the consequences of voting for the this ripoff and have instead focused on how horrible the Chiefs are going to be this season.
We tried to tell everyone includoing writers at the Kansas City Business Journal and the Examiner that the projections on the tax would allow this to be a slush fund. So the public wanted sports more than honesty. www.KCNag.com
