Campus Insecurity

Here's yet another valuable learning experience that UMKC offers its students: When walking to your car on the commuter campus you'll quickly realize that PR citing all of the good news emanating from the university is nice but it doesn't really matter much when confronted by a guy holding a rifle and demanding your money.

Secondly . . . Who robs somebody with a rifle nowadays? This is nearly as bad as being "axed" a question . . . Which could be the next campus incident since very few people in the administration like talking about security in the context of an urban campus that so closely borders KC's summertime war zone.
