You know I can't live without my radio

As always, thank you for reading folks. Have a fun and safe Saturday night and if you're not too hung over . . . You can listen to me on Sunday at 9:45 in A.M. on Newsradio 980 KMBZ.

Bill Grady is going to interview me live, I'm going to plug some of my favorite local blogs (hope I don't forget anybody) and we'll see if they have to bleep me.

  3. Nicely done, especially considering the seconds you were reduced to. Hopefully the return interview will allow more depth

  5. You got hosed! I think you surprised them. They weren't expecting a blogger to be well spoken. The first couple of minutes when you didn't use the words "dude" or "like" they figured out that maybe they had someone a little more savvy than what most of the media intelligencia thinks of online commentators.

I think they should do a segment with you every Sunday morning.

  6. Here's an idea. Why don't you show KMBZ the power of the blog? All your faithful readers can go to http://www.kmbz.com/contactus.asp and tell 980 to have you on more often.

  7. Tony,

Thanks for making time to appear
on Sunday morning. I'd like to schedule you as a guest in the future, when we have more time.
The next time I substitute as host I'd like to have a panel of guests to discuss the changing face of
journalism. Naturally, blog spots are a big part of the evolution.
    Thanks again.

    Regards,
    Bill Grady

  8. Translation: Mike Shannon the regular host doesn't even know what a blog is and until there's one devoted entirely to him and his self-perceived brilliance there won't be a blogger on Sunday morning any time soon.

As for myself, rather than give you all the mic time I'm going to bury you with a bunch of other bloggers so I can control the message. I think your TKC blog is a little too racy for 980 KMBZ and our weezbag demographic.
