God Bless Ed Powers and the horribly disgusting but important work he has done in reclaiming the word debutante.

For years in Kansas City so many young trollups have sought to engage in this legacy of classism and snobbery put on for the benefit of no one in particular. Of course, all of these young tarts like to partake in some kind of charitable activity but it's nothing compared to all of the cash that's wasted on their account which doesn't do much for the Chinese toddlers who make their dresses. From the Jewell Ball to so many other monumental wastes of time . . . Make no mistake that your owners, bosses and betters want you to admire their daughters and ignore the discount nose jobs.

Anyway, what Mr. Powers did in his lovingly crafted masterpieces was take the term and identify it for what it was . . . Just another name to call a young (18+) piece of trim. Because of his work, nobody who is even vaguely familiar with porn can utter the word "debutante" without producing a mental image of Mr. Powers and several young skanks tussling around a dirty sofa, fidgeting with a camera and doing his best to entertain the masses despite his shortcomings. Well done, man.
