The War Against Terror earns a victory against stoners

KSHB reports that the owner of two 7th Heaven stores in Kansas City and Sedalia, Mo., pleaded guilty in federal court today to selling illegal drug paraphernalia. Oh, glorious day that pot heads will no longer be able to get high unless they learn how to cut a hole in an apple!

  1. I always wondered how they were able to get away with it for so long. I mean, they openly advertised what they had on commercials (radio).

  2. Like Heather says, this was no "conspiracy." It was all out in the open. This is an election-year sham. (Disclaimer- I know and like Jan Fichman.)

  3. I remember a time when not only could you openly smoke pot at places like rock concerts and the St. Patrick's Day Parade, but you could even offer a cop a hit and the worst they would do is politely decline.

Some of 'em would even take a hit.

Can't say I consider this to be "progress".

  5. I worked at 7th Heaven on Troost for 2 years and I can tell you first hand that this is absolute bullshit. Any customer that came in asking for crackpipes or anything to smoke weed out of were immediately asked to leave. Jan as well as each employee knew what was at stake when customers asked for shit like that. We knew the place could get raided or closed down. We didn't know if they were undercovers or not. So we played dumb told them to leave and that was that. This new MO law against pipes and similar fare is ridiculous.

  6. If you really want that bong but stupid laws prevent you from buying one retail, head over to the Burlington Coat Factory. In their hiousewaers deaprtment you will find a lovely selection of vases that are not vases... they are bongs without a hole in the side and they cost less than $15. Buy a glass cutting drillbit for $12 and you're good to go.

Stick that in your bong and smoke it you faggot MO legislators.

heh apples are last resort stuff tony :)
