The Biz Journal reports: "The Planned Industrial Expansion Authority on Monday approved property tax abatements to renovate seven buildings in and around downtown Kansas City.
The PIEA approved residential condominium conversions of two of the largest buildings in the Crossroads Arts District, the H.D. Lee and J.I. Case buildings, as well as an adjacent building at 2109 Broadway and the University Tower apartments at 700 E. Eighth St. on the East Side of Downtown."
Normally, I'd make some comment about the homeless but nowadays it's pretty clear that this city doesn't care about anybody who doesn't have the cash for a luxury living space. From homeless bums to anybody making less than 6 figures, this town doesn't have a place for anybody who can't afford a condo thanks to Kay Barnes.
