Sanders Slander?

I like to give Jackson County Prosecutor Mike Sanders a hard time because I think he looks like Dieter from Sprockets but an e-mail that is circulating among the political set in KC is drawing condemnation and charges of slander and libel.

Already the "newsletter" has been condemned by the CCP and the e-mail is pretty much regarded as hateful garbage . . . In other words, politics as usual in Kansas City.

Note: The newsletter quotes this page but nobody talked to me about it. Additionally, I may not have received every page of the newsletter because I can't seem to find the "made up sick baby story." So let's call this news item . . . Developing . . .

Update #2: The passage I excerpted actually came from the First Edition of the "Sanders Report Card." Also, there is a very apologetic e-mail floating around the local net vehemently apologizing for the content of the e-mail or at least for distributing it. The guy proclaims, "Be assured that my first and only attempt at political satire are over."

That's right, leave it to the professionals pal!
