They say that there has been an "outpouring of support" in the local area regarding the death/murder of Good Samaritan John U. Now that a verdict has been rendered and Brad Joseph Jones was found guilty of felony first-degree murder, I guess it's time for what many dumbasses call "closure."
First of all, when most people talk about this story (when nobody is looking) it's only to note what a tragic and stupid move it was on U's part to get involved. U died chasing a purse snatcher and that just seems pointless like tipping or using traffic signals. The contents of most women's purses are mostly worthless anyway. There is no way I would die for 19 dollars, a birth control device of some sort and a half a pack of gum. Of course, admirers and other people with 4th grade intellects might suggest that what U really died for is the concept of "doing the right thing" which actually sounds nice if it weren't a horribly dangerous concept that could not only result in dating fat women but also explains why the Royals still manage to sell tickets.
I haven't seen a crimminal defence lawyer yet, that I wouldn't like to stand up in front of an oncomming truck.

For some reason I feel very nervous about discussing the merits of how or why a person dies,--- or who or what I would die for.
ReplyDeleteI just know that a long time ago a guy said there were definitely things worth dieing for but nothing worth killing for.
Reminder: Why it doesn't pay to help anyone
ReplyDeleteSo what your saying is that when Tony gets his first liable suit or the man comes down on him for say "unpatriotic" stuff, we should all sit back an watch tony take in the butt at gitmo? No letters of support, no defense fund etc..
Or should your headline really say Reminder: Why it doesn't pay to help anyone unless your helping me
Such a shame
ReplyDeleteYou guys totally didn't get what Tony was doing. It's obvious that he thinks it was a tragic death as well. Get a dictionary and look up the word irony. Here's a hint, it's when the stated meaning is opposite of the intended.
