About a year ago, Bill Dunn Sr. decided to deliver a controversial speech at the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast that espoused his conservative beliefs about how God gave him his money and poor (brown) people are evil and whatever. Obviously, this didn't go over well with the crowd and the dirty hippies who attended the event got their panties in a bunch and either dropped out of the following year's festivities or wrote editorials about the speech. Clearly, Dunn Sr. forgot that he has to pay people to agree with him.
Eventually, the controversy came to a head (no homo) and Country Club Kay decided to drop out of the event and now she still hasn't changed her mind. In the grand scheme of things this isn't very important. In fact, it's not very important in any scheme of things unless you're discussing how the Mayor, rich people and other leaders in this town waste time, effort and money eating breakfast and dicking around with each other.
