The Whole Wheat Blogger posts some interesting thoughts regarding those organizations that seek to cure people of their homosexuality and the hostility they have created.
There are a lot of people who struggle with homosexual feelings that they don't want. What answers does the pro-gay crowd offer them? Psychological counseling, perhaps, to help them accept who they are, even if they hate it? If groups like the NGLTF had their way, there would be no options for people with unwanted homosexual feelings. That's a valid point. If there are people who don't want to be homosexual then there ought to be some place they can go to combat those feelings other than San Francisco. And as far as unwanted homosexual feelings, I've struggled with those myself but then I just simply told my priest to back off because I'm all about the bitches.
This is part of the same argument that has been effectively used against loopy liberals. They (liberals/dirty hippies) promote tolerance until you disagree with them. Their celebration of cultural diversity overlooks the oppressive and brutal traditions of Islam and hip-hop just to name a couple. That's why I don't discuss politics with the white women I date . . . Mainly because I know that no matter what end of the political spectrum she falls under there is no doubt some kind of intolerance for Mexicans AND it's hard to understand a woman with her face jammed into a pillow.
Alright. I got news for you. If you have "unwanted homosexual feelings"...YOU'RE GAY!
ReplyDelete(not that there's anything wrong with that)
One of my brothers is gay. My sister is gay. I know TONS of people who are gay. It's not something you choose or can control.
It's like black guys being attracted to fat white chicks with big floppy asses.
You can't fight it!
Sexuality isn't something you "choose". You're born with it.
Me? I was born with an attraction to sleep with women who want to sleep with me.
"Hi. My name is Xavier and I'm a slut."
"HI XAVIER!"
The only reason people are uncomfortable with their own "gay" feelings is because of the pressure society puts on them to fall into their perceived gender rolls. If people didn't care then there wouldn't be anxiety. Bah!
ReplyDeletePeople have issues with their gay feelings cause of society. Look at what just happened in New bedford Mass, a guy comes in, asks if it's a gay bar and starts stabbing everyone. No one's ever walked into a bar with a gun and singled out the heterosexual Caucasian males! GEEEZ. So think before you write bro!
