This is the worst record for murder in KC in 7 years.

Kansas City’s homicide tally now exceeds 1999’s total of 122 but remains lower than the 133 recorded in 1998. The record of 153 was set in 1993.

Sadly, my New Year's resolution will most likely be to be more productive as well.
