TKC leaves Mike Hendricks in the dust

Actually, that's not true because I know the Star guys have to turn in their column weeks in advance but as far as you're concerned I'm not "completely" lying.

Anyway, on Monday I posted a short item about the divisions in the JoCo Republican Party. It was nothing more than a rehashing of local blogger Cara's great post that gave true insight into local Republican infighting.

TWO DAYS LATER Mike Hendricks files a column entitled: "Kansas GOP fights for identity" that is pretty much a carbon copy of Cara's post (same sources) and not nearly as entertaining as what I had written (not one pussy joke). What this means is that reading local blogs puts you a step ahead of local columnists . . . not that standing straight and using opposable thumbs didn't already give you the edge on those douchebags.
